The Oconomowoc Public Library has been transforming our community for over 125 years! 2018 was a year of celebration and pride as we reflected on how the library and community have transformed together.
- In February, the library partnered with other libraries in Waukesha and Jefferson counties to show our communities how libraries transform lives.
- READ posters featuring local celebrities were created as part of our February 2018 Libraries Transform campaign. Check out all of our community READ posters at the library!
- The 2018 summer reading program ROCKED! A record 2,125 children, teens, and adults participated!
- Commemorative 125th anniversary shirts were seen throughout the community worn by library lovers of all ages.
- The library traveled back in time at the end of summer to celebrate our 125th anniversary! With the help of the Friends of the Oconomowoc Public Library, the library was transformed into a trip through the past 125 years and all the great inventions and changes that have occurred along the way!
We have lots of great plans for 2019!
