Curbside Pickup

Thank you for your interest in Curbside Pickup! The Library is now open. Feel free to come in to browse and check out items, or continue to use curbside pickup.


  • You must have a regular library card to check out items.
  • Temporary library cards created online will not be accepted. Please contact the Library for assistance.
  • Valid ID that matches library account and hold information must be presented for pickup.
  • Pickup is only available for holds placed through the online catalog, or by calling (262) 569-2193, ext. 222.
  • Pickup must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
  • We are not able to fulfill drop-in hold requests.

  1. Log in to your library account.
  2. Search for items
  3. Click "PLACE A HOLD" next to your chosen item
  4. Choose Oconomowoc Public Library as "Pickup library"
  5. Click "Submit Request"
  6. Continue selecting items and placing holds
  7. Verify all holds are correct by clicking "My Account" and then "Holds."


  1. Holds must be placed prior to scheduling pickup.
  2. Registration for Curbside Pickup is required and must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
  3. We are not able to fulfill drop-in hold requests.
  4. Select date and time from the Curbside Pickup Calendar below to register.
    1. Appointments are limited to five (5) per 30-minute time slot.
    2. "Registrations are FULL" will show if no appointments are available in a time slot.
  5. Click "Begin Registration"
    1. Complete the registration form
    2. Click "Register" to submit
  6. You will receive an email confirming your pickup appointment.
  7. NOTE: The person picking up must present a valid ID matching the library account associated with the holds. Please email Kelsey Butterfield, Circulation Supervisor, at at least 24 hours ahead of your scheduled time if this is not possible.

Curbside Pickup Calendar


  1. Log in to your library account to verify your holds have been filled before coming to the Library.
  2. Arrive at the Library within your scheduled pickup time. Please be on time, so we can serve as many patrons as possible.
  3. Park in a spot designated for Curbside Pickup, marked with bright yellow signs.
  4. Call (262) 569-2193, ext. 200 to let staff know you have arrived.
    1. If you do not have a cell phone, please call before leaving home and provide an estimated arrival time and a description of your vehicle.

  5. For everyone’s safety, please remain in your vehicle. Library staff will bring items out to you.
  6. Show Library staff an ID through your closed vehicle window. ID must match the name on the library account and holds request.
    1. Items will not be released to anyone other than the person on the library account unless prearranged with the Circulation Supervisor per instructions above.
  7. Library staff will leave bagged materials on the hood of the vehicle. Please remain in your vehicle until the staff member is at least 10 feet away.
  8. If you do not arrive for your scheduled pickup time, the Library will hold your items for three (3) days. You will need to schedule a new pickup appointment.


Items can be returned any time using the outdoor book drop located on the west side of the Library.
