Event Details

Join us for an after-hours library concert with Naeim Rahmani. Originally from Iran, Naeim immigrated to the US as a refugee in his teens. He completed his Master’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee under renowned Cuban guitarist Rene Izquierdo. Naeim performs regularly in the midwest and around the country. He has also performed internationally in Mexico and Spain. In 2015, he was a prizewinner in competitions in the Northwest Guitar Festival and Competition, the San Francisco Bay Guitar Competition and
the University of Louisville Guitar Festival and Competition. Naeim is currently part of the guitar faculty at the Latino Arts Strings Program in Milwaukee, a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging the artistic development of youth in the community. We are incredibly excited to have him perform at the Oconomowoc Public Library! This event is free and open to the public. Visit Naeim’s website for more performer information.
