Technology Summer Camp for Adults

Feeling behind on your technology skills? Sign up for our Technology Summer Camp for Adults and be on the top of your tech game by the fall! Take one class or take them all, it’s your choice! Programs are in a small class format limited to ten people and no experience is required. Please sign up at the reference desk.

June 12 – iPad/iPhone Basics
Learn the basics of using iPads and iPhones. Search for, update or delete apps, organize your device, access eBooks or audiobooks from the library and more! Bring your device and questions!
June 19 – Android Tablet/Phone Basics
Learn the basics of using Android tablets and phones. Search for, update or delete apps, organize your device, access eBooks or audiobooks from the library and more! Bring your device and questions!
June 26 – NO CLASS
July 3 – Computer Basics: The Mouse
Learn the basics of using a PC computer and practice using a mouse. We will provide laptops or you may bring your own.
July 10 – NO CLASS
July 17 – Computer Basics: The Keyboard
Learn the basics of using a PC computer and practice using a mouse. We will provide laptops or you may bring your own.
July 24 – Computer Basics: The Internet
Learn how to use a web browser to access the web and use Google to find information on the internet. You will learn how to find out which websites have the most accurate information on health and government information. We will provide laptops or you may bring your own.
July 31 – Introduction to Microsoft Word
Learn the basics of Excel including inserting text, basic functions, AutoSum and AutoFill by creating a basic budget spreadsheet and letting Excel do the math for you! We will provide laptops or you may bring your own.
