Need volunteer hours for National Honor Society? Want a fun, rewarding summer and a chance to make new friends? We’ve got you covered!
We’re looking for teen summer library program volunteers ages 12–18 (including 11‑year‑olds entering 7th grade for the 2026–2027 school year). Choose the opportunity that fits you best:
Help families sign up for the Reading Challenge, hand out prizes and drawing tickets, and keep the Summer Reading Room stocked and tidy.
Help set up, run, and clean up events throughout the summer—perfect for teens who like movement and variety.
Get paired with a younger reader from the Oconomowoc area and help them set and achieve a summer reading goal. Teens and kids who complete the program will be entered into a drawing for a Shop Oconomowoc Gift Certificate.
If you have questions or want to learn more, contact Miss Lizzie at ebrazelton@oconomowoclibrary.org.
Please fill out the teen summer library program volunteer application form, and make sure you complete any sections that apply to your volunteering interests. If you are interested in multiple volunteering options, you are welcome to apply for any number of them.
