There are a variety of library volunteer opportunities available including library material delivery and pick-up, library program assistance, light housekeeping around the library, collection assistance, and more. Adults and teens (16 years or older) interested in volunteering need to fill out the Adult Volunteer Application and turn it in to the Circulation Desk. Copies of the application are also available at the Circulation Desk. Applicants will be contacted to set up an interview.
Teens (ages 12-15) interested in volunteering during the school year need to fill out the Teen Volunteer Application and turn it in to the Circulation Desk. Copies of the application are also available at the Circulation Desk. For summer volunteering, an announcement for volunteers will be made in the spring.
The Friends of the Oconomowoc Public Library is a non-profit group created to support the mission of the Oconomowoc Public Library and assist in raising funds for library programs. Friends’ volunteers assist with the bi-annual book sales, library hospitality, special events, and fundraising.
